(Inspired by Esther – For Such a Time as This)
Image Connection:
A young woman is standing boldly in the light, facing a massive, fearsome dragon. Everyone else stands back, hiding in the shadows.
Ask yourself:
Are you the girl who stands in the light?
Are you part of the crowd hiding in fear?
Or are you just watching, unsure what to do?
There will be moments in your life when fear surrounds you and no one else will step forward.
But God may be calling you to stand in His light and do what is right… even when it’s hard.
Esther 4:10–17
“Who knows if perhaps you were made queen for such a time as this?” – Esther 4:14 (NLT)
The Dragon Represents the Challenge
Esther faced a deadly law, and her people were in danger.
In the picture, the dragon symbolizes evil, fear, or injustice whatever tries to silence truth and crush courage.
The Crowd Represents the Comfort Zone
In both Esther’s story and the image, people stay back. They’re silent. They’re afraid.
But courage doesn’t grow in the crowd it shines when someone dares to step out.
The Girl Represents Courage and Faith
Esther didn’t act in anger or revenge. She stood in faith, trusting God’s timing and truth.
In the image, the girl holds a book (God’s Word), and she doesn’t back down even when the danger is great.
The Light Represents God’s Presence and Purpose
The beam of light doesn’t shine on everyone; it shines on the one who steps forward.
God often calls just one voice to stand when the moment matters most.
Doing What’s Right Even When Everything Seems Wrong
Esther teaches us this:
you don’t have to get even to be brave.
You don’t need to prove yourself.
Sometimes the greatest act of courage is to trust God, do what is right, and let Him handle the outcome.
